FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where is the show located?

The car show is taking place at The District at Prairie Trail in Ankeny, Iowa.  This location is different than in previous years.  Please see the enclosed map for directions and address information.  The show is NOT located on Dennis Albaugh's private golf course.

Free parking will be available at the DMACC Ankeny campus with a shuttle running to and from DMACC and The District during the event. Lots L, J, and N will be available for parking and will be marked with yard signs. All trailer parking must be in one of these lots.  No trailer parking will be allowed at The District.  Any trailers left in The District will be towed.

Where and when do I get my registration packet?

You will pick this up at load in. The swag bag includes a t-shirt, The District Gift Card, and instructions on how to claim your complimentary digital photo of your car.

Can I bring my own lawn chairs and pop up tent?

You are welcome to bring lawn chairs and small sun umbrellas. Pop up tents will NOT be allowed.

Can I request to park by someone else who is registered?

You will not be able to request who you park by. If you would like to be parked next to someone specific you will need to have cars in the same judged category and you will need to arrive in line next to one another to load in.  We will not allow "saving spaces."

Judging will begin promptly at Noon and will end just before awards at 6:00 p.m.  NO VEHICLES will be allowed to leave the site until AFTER awards which are scheduled to end at 6:30 p.m.

When can I leave the site?

NO VEHICLES will be allowed to leave the site until AFTER awards which are scheduled to end at 6:30 p.m.  Following awards, our staff will direct the vehicles out of the site through our load out process.  Because there is a simultaneous festival happening, you will not be allowed to load out on your own.  You MUST wait to be directed by our staff.  You should anticipate that the load out process will begin following awards (estimated for 6:30 p.m.) and will take about an hour to complete.
